HTC's new U11 life hitting the stores

         The android one programs nexus with smartphones started with Micromax in India. Promptly, it gains more popularity after it merges with the reputed manufacturers like moto, HTC. Next to moto, the Taiwanese manufacturer HTC follows the attempt to increase its market through the pure android experience. As the U series is given hype by the slogan "designed with U in mind". The U series comes with many tweaks that allow users to customise the handset to a greater extent with features like squeeze, U-sonic.


  Design

               Most of the HTC devices are eye-catchers and attract people with their unique designs. This U11 life should also be a great looker and startle people. U11 life is made of plastic. The U11 life gets an acrylic glass back aka plexiglass. When the phone is squeezed, the back glass is said to illuminate colour shifting, in addition to the original glass back colour. The 5.2-inch screen should be easy to handle with ease. The screen tends to terminate with 2.5 D curved design. The bezels are pared similar to the new rivals, as the bezel-less display being the trend of the town. The U11 life measures 149.1 x 72.9 x 8.1 mm. It weighs 142 grams. The right side has the power, and volume buttons are placed at the right side of the curved screen. The top bears a mic and the sim tray. The bottom is filled with the centred single loudspeaker and another noise cancellation mic. The earpiece, sensors, camera, notification LED throngs at the top of the screen. The rear is built with a single camera and a single flash LED fetching the HTC and Android one logo. Below the screen, the navigation buttons are stowed along with the fingerprint scanner in the centre. The U11 life acquires a super LCD screen. The headsets can be plugged in only through the type-c port via adapter in-lieu of the 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone is certified with IP67 such that the phone can resist water attack up to 1metre for 30 minutes.

Display

               The display is constructed with the Super LCD capacitive touchscreen. The smartphone has the Full HD resolution screen with 424 nits brightnesses. The display is trimmed with 16:9 ratio with a screen to body ratio 68.4%. The display is protected with the corning gorilla glass 3, avoiding scratches.

Connectivity

                       The smartphone doesn't have either dual sim slot or hybrid slot and a single nano-sim tray is provided instead of it. This may be a drawback during its time of selling. The smartphone has expandable storage support. The smartphone supports NFC feature. It comes with type C port responsible for faster file transfers when compared to the micro-USB port. It possesses an inbuilt GPS system, wi-fi, and hotspot.

Operating System

                                   Google's android one acts as the OS on the U11 Life and the HTC's Sense UI is clipped. But the phone has composite features like squeeze The main advantages of the pure android will not have any creepy bloatware which reduces the storage and consumes less battery than the latter with custom ROM. The squeeze feature is said to work under the pressure sensors bestowed on the sides of the handset such that the smartphone is customised viz motion gestures. The smartphone comes with the U-sonic furnished, which cancels the extraneous noise. The ultrasonic sensors optimise the earbuds to deliver a resurrected headphone experience. The hearing experience is enhanced with the hi-res setup. The U11 life is said to receive two major updates.

Camera

                   While the dual-camera setup gingerly allures the audience, HTC comes up again with the same single-camera setup, having a 16MP lens (BSI sensor) with f 2.0 aperture. The 4k resolution recording is enabled @30fps.The UI also has features like HDR boost, autofocus, face detection, manual mode. The front camera is also a 16MP with a f/2.0 aperture. There is no support for 4k recording. There are no OIS and EIS on both front and rear cameras.

Storage

                The smartphone comes in two variants as usual one having 3GB RAM and the other has 4GB RAM. The 3GB variant comes with a 32GB internal storage and 4GB variant with 64 GB alternative. However, there are chances for the smartphone to arrive in one variant.

Processor

                   The smartphone is ignited by the manufacturers fondle new snapdragon 630 on the board. The processor is an octa-core chip with the cortex A-53 cores, four cores are clocked at 2.2 GHz and four cores are clocked at 1.8 GHz. The processor should be a fair player in gaming and multitasking. The processor is said to be battery efficient as it is built through 14nm technological process.

Battery and sensors

            The handset is powered by a small non-removable 2600 mah battery and the phone also doesn't support fast charging. As the processor is said to be battery efficient, it may last a day under moderate usage.
                 The phone has all the needed sensors like accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope and the front-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Colour and Pricing

                      The smartphone comes in three colour variants brilliant black, sapphire blue and ice white. The smartphone expected to be priced similar to the Moto X4 around rs.23,000($349).
