10 Basic games and apps you'll cherish during this quarantine

My top 10 favourite games and apps in 2020

This piece contains the fundamental apps and basic games to drive your day. Many would have been using these apps already. This version will give you an overview of all these apps. Apart from this, there are some unprecedented apps which I’ll share with you in the upcoming versions.

Spotify

I've been using it for two years and would like to say that, the app gives a complete experience not allowing me to think of an alternate switch. Millions of tracks along with an easy to use interface are the USP's of this application and it's holistic. You can listen to songs from various regions and diverse genres. The ads are a bit annoying in the free version. Activate premium subscription and curb ads to enjoy ad-free listening.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a great networking platform where you can connect with like-minded people and could gain the best industry insights out of it to map your future. Connect with your domain people of various geographies and gain immense knowledge. If you wish to shine in LinkedIn, then pose content consistently to pace up your profile views.

Google Drive

Use google drive to retrieve your documents on the go anywhere from the cloud. The app enables you to acquire any document from a centralized cloud ware, that allows you to manage them on all kind of devices. I used to upload my leading files from my phone to the drive to prevent accidental deletion over mishaps.

Grammarly

I'm using Grammarly to correct my sentence errors while writing content. There are two versions, free and paid. The free version comes with a limited set of features and includes checking spelling errors, space errors and preposition errors. I haven't had my hands on the premium version yet. The error toggle pops up with a red dot when you write anything wrong and hint the mistake probabilities. I use the web extensions in chrome and Microsoft Word, slashing errors in all the domains while writing. It’s also available for the Android platform. (Web extension embedded in the image)

Airtel Xstream

The Xstream is a video streaming platform like Hotstar, but only limited to Airtel subscribers. Watch movies and series of different regions in a snap from your device. As an Airtel subscriber, you can even view premium content without any extra charges. From Hollywood to Bollywood you could binge-watch any content for free until your juice lasts.

Twitter

Twitter is a broad platform to get connected to critical players of any industry. Twitter allows us to engage with their content and I use twitter to receive notifications from the tech ecosystems. Most of the big shots interact with their fans through twitter and you are not distracted by any unwanted posts you haven't followed. I use Twitter because of this mainstreamed content provision from them.

Youtube

Youtube is always my favourite app and I stream entertainment videos, DIY guides of content creations and many more. Youtube has an array of genres where you can find videos about anything you need. You can eliminate ads and unlock premium Youtube originals with a premium subscription.

Last Arrows

If you want to install and play a lightweight game, then I prefer you to give this a shot. I'm playing this game since this quarantine and tackle boredom while playing it. This is a strategic game where you've to kill the haunting zombies with a limited number of archers to survive. The time limit makes the game more interesting and as you level up the game demands more thinking to survive the wrath. The mix of fear and constrained time exhilarates me to advance further.

Temple Run

Run fast for your life and reward thy with treasures for your plight. This game makes you forget your surroundings and delves you into the shoes of the virtual realm. If you fail, you have to face the heat of a monster tearing you into pieces. The game has ample graphics, blatant trajectories, and user-friendly controls.

Energy Anti Stress Loops

One day I thought of playing an interesting game demanding strategic thinking and stumbled upon this game. Here you have to turn on the bulbs using the wire-like substances given in your screen. The process replicates an electrical light system in our homes where we hit the switch to turn it on.
